01 Overview

WhichOTT does not host, stream, or distribute any movies, TV shows, or anime. We are a search and discovery tool that displays publicly available streaming availability data sourced from TMDB.

The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) is a US copyright law that provides a process for copyright holders to request removal of infringing content. While WhichOTT is based in India, we respect the spirit of these protections globally and take all valid copyright concerns seriously.

If you believe that content appearing on WhichOTT infringes your copyright, please follow the process below.

02 What WhichOTT Hosts

To understand the scope of DMCA requests, it is important to know what WhichOTT does and does not host:

If your copyright concern relates to poster images or metadata, this content is sourced from TMDB. We recommend also filing a notice with TMDB for faster resolution.

04 How to Submit a Counter-Notice

If you believe content was removed from WhichOTT by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice. Your counter-notice must include:

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will notify the original complainant and may restore the removed content within 10–14 business days unless the complainant files a court action.

05 Repeat Infringers

WhichOTT has a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts or access of users who are repeat infringers of copyright. Since WhichOTT does not require user accounts, this applies to any IP addresses or identifiable users found to be systematically infringing copyright through use of our service.

06 False Claims Warning

⚠️ Submitting a false or fraudulent DMCA notice is a serious legal matter. Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that content is infringing may be liable for damages, including costs and legal fees.

Please ensure you have a genuine, good-faith belief that the content infringes your copyright before submitting a notice. We take abuse of the DMCA process seriously and reserve the right to pursue legal remedies against those who submit fraudulent claims.
