Hi, I'm Pruthvi — a movie fanatic from India who watches films daily (sometimes more). WhichOTT started as a fun side project born out of pure frustration.
One evening I was trying to track down a movie I wanted to watch. I had no idea which OTT platform it was on. I jumped between apps, Googled it, still couldn't figure it out quickly. That moment of frustration sparked an idea — why isn't there a simple search engine for this?
So I built one. WhichOTT is that simple search engine.
Me and my group of friends are serious movie watchers — we're talking daily sessions, late-night binges, weekend marathons. The usual question in our group chat is always "where can I watch this?"
It happened one too many times. You hear about a great movie, you want to watch it tonight, but finding out which platform has it felt like a mini adventure in itself. Netflix? Prime? Hotstar? Is it even streaming anywhere?
Instead of complaining about it, I decided to do something about it. I built WhichOTT — a free, no-nonsense search tool that tells you exactly where any movie, TV show, or anime is streaming, across 50+ platforms in 190+ countries.
WhichOTT is a living project — it grows with every piece of feedback we receive. This site handles the core problem: finding where to stream something. The free Android app takes it further.
Already shipped in the app: a Watchlist that sorts itself into "Streaming now" vs "Waiting for OTT," In Cinemas tracking with estimated OTT dates, My Subscriptions (so we only flag platforms you actually pay for), and push notifications the moment a title you're waiting on goes live. Personalised recommendations are next on the list.
Have a feature idea? A bug to report? Just want to say hi? We genuinely read every message. Reach out — your feedback might just shape the next version of WhichOTT.
That movie you've been meaning to watch? It's out there. Let's find it.
