César Gamiño is an actor, director, producer, and writer whose work spans independent film, sketch comedy, and digital entertainment. The son of a Colombian mother and Mexican father, both immigrants, Gamiño draws on his cultural background and sense of humor to create work that expands the range of Latino stories and characters on screen.
He co-founded Dirty Cues, a sketch comedy channel whose videos have attracted millions of views. Serving as a director, producer, and actor, he helped create viral favorites including *Angela vs Bath & Body Works*, *Tommy Chong Lincoln Commercial*, *The Real Housewives of Westeros*, and the *COPS Manitowoc Sheriff Dept.* series, which satirized the law enforcement figures featured in Netflix’s *Making a Murderer*. He also helped develop and bring to life the team’s dark comedy episodic series, *Dirty Cues*, an ambitious undertaking that brought together his experience in acting, directing, and production.
Gamiño earned a Best Actor award for his leading performance in *The Violinist*. The film screened at more than 30 festivals worldwide, receiving 11 awards and five nominations. His work has also included creating branded videos for Cedric the Entertainer and collaborating with Tommy Chong.
Across his projects, Gamiño has sought to place Latino characters in positions of agency and leadership, reflecting a broader range of identities and experiences through both comedy and drama.
