Estimated dates are predictions based on the typical theatrical to streaming window (about six to eight weeks), not confirmed release dates. In the WhichOTT Android app you can turn on an alert to be notified the moment a film actually starts streaming.

How the estimate works

Where does the estimated OTT date come from?

Most films reach streaming six to eight weeks after their theatrical release. We take the cinema release date and project forward by that typical window. It is a prediction based on industry patterns, not an announcement from the studio or platform.

When will I get the official OTT release date?

WhichOTT always monitors the official title producer's channels to find the official OTT release date and platform, and shows it the moment it is announced.

How accurate is the estimate?

It is a reasonable guide for mainstream releases, but windows vary a lot. Some studio titles reach their own platform in under a month, while awards contenders and big theatrical performers can stay in cinemas far longer. Treat it as roughly when to start checking, not a date to plan around.

Can I be told when a film actually starts streaming?

Yes. The free WhichOTT Android app lets you follow a film and alerts you the moment it genuinely lands on a streaming service in Pakistan, replacing the estimate with the confirmed date.

Why do the cinema listings change by country?

Cinema schedules are set per territory, so a film may already be playing in one country and still be weeks away in another. The list above follows the country set in the header picker.

Why are some titles still in "In Cinemas" even though they are on OTT?

Some titles are still playing in theatres while also available to stream, so they can appear in both places. In Cinemas reflects the theatrical run.
